Abrasive grains such as aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, zirconia alumina, garnet & emery are bonded to a flexible substrate using adhesives.
Commonly used substrates include paper, cloth, fiber, & polyester films.
Grit sizes range from very coarse to ultra-fine.
