3M™ Polyurethane Multi-Purpose Adhesive 5010

3M™ Polyurethane Multi-Purpose Adhesive 5010 is a fast-grabbing, one-part polyurethane adhesive designed to create strong, permanent bonds across a wide range of materials. This cream-colored, moisture-curing adhesive is supplied in a 310 mL cartridge for controlled application with a compatible caulking gun.

Its low-foaming formulation helps maintain a thin, consistent bond line while providing excellent water resistance, minor gap filling, and reliable adhesion for industrial, woodworking, construction, transportation, and general assembly applications.

Key Product Benefits

Fast grabbing and fast curing

Provides a 3 to 5 minute open time, approximately 30 minute clamp time, and full cure in approximately 24 hours under typical conditions.

Strong permanent bonding

Forms a rigid, lasting bond for wood assemblies and bonding applications involving dissimilar materials.

Low foaming formulation

Helps reduce bond line expansion and cavitation for more controlled assembly results.

Paintable and Sandable

Once cured, the adhesive can be painted and sanded to support a clean finished appearance.

Excellent water resistance

Suitable for indoor and outdoor bonding applications where cured adhesive may encounter moisture.

Convenient cartridge application

The single-component formula requires no mixing and can be dispensed using a compatible manual or pneumatic applicator.
