The flexible, breathable construction moves with the skin, while the water-resistant adhesive helps the pad stay in place on damp or sweaty skin. A unique diamond shape helps create a firm seal around the wound, helping keep out water, dirt, and external contaminants.

How the Hydrocolloid Pad Works
When the hydrocolloid gel comes into contact with wound fluid, it absorbs the fluid and may gradually turn white. This visible change is a normal characteristic of hydrocolloid dressings and indicates that the pad is absorbing moisture.

Application Guidance
