Important Respirator Selection and Use Information
- This cartridge is for certain organic vapours only. It is not a universal gas cartridge and does not provide particulate filtration by itself.
- A separately approved particulate filter or combination cartridge may be required when the hazard also includes dusts, mists, fumes, sprays, or other airborne particles.
- Do not use this cartridge in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health, or in hazardous particulate concentrations.
- Use only with a compatible, NIOSH-approved respirator and according to the applicable respirator approval configuration.
- Respirator selection, medical evaluation, fit testing, training, maintenance, and cartridge change-out procedures must be completed under a compliant workplace respiratory protection program.
- Establish a documented change-out schedule using the actual contaminant, concentration, workplace conditions, humidity, work rate, and respirator configuration.
- Replace cartridges according to the documented schedule, or sooner if the wearer detects contaminant odour, taste, or irritation. Do not rely on odour alone as the primary change-out method.
Facepiece, particulate filters, filter retainers, adapters, and other accessories are not included with this cartridge unless specifically listed.
